Matching rigid caster for Plate Caster Model 3. The mounting plate is 2 3/8” x 3 5/8” and the hole pattern is slotted to: 1 3/4” x 2 7/8” – 3” and is designed to use a mounting bolt size of 5/16”. This rigid caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle and nut and uses 1-¼” and 1-½” wide wheels. Multiple wheels and brake options are available. When manually moving equipment supported by 4 swivel casters it can be difficult to control the direction you are pushing or pulling. Rigid casters assist in controlling equipment being moved in straight line travel. Equipment with rigid casters installed can not move sideways. This plate caster is NSF listed.
This solid all polyurethane industrial caster wheel was developed for sanitary and washdown applications, and is capable of rolling indoors or outdoors. The blue all polyurethane (“AP”) caster wheel is manufactured in 1-¼” wide and with diameters ranging from 3”-5”. Caster City manufactures this 1-1/4″ wide (“AP”) blue all polyurethane wheel to come with a steel spanner bushing which is available in stainless steel as well upon request. The temperature range of this industrial caster wheel is -50°to 180° F and the durometer of the polyurethane is Shore 60D.
These wheels are non marking and non conductive. The absence of a metal center eliminates bond failure as a cause for wheel replacement. These caster wheels are especially suited for use with stainless steel casters in wet and corrosive applications. They are designed for use in Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Hospitals, and Food Processing Plants – wherever a clean sanitary design is desired.
