For equipment in washdown-intensive operations that require stem-mount casters, the Economy Stainless Steel Model K3 from Caster City delivers dependable stainless performance without the premium price. This 304 stainless stamped steel swivel caster mounts into socket holes with threaded, grip ring, or expanding adapter stems. The double ball bearing swivel section rides on polished smooth raceways with an open design–no dust cap, no grease fitting–ensuring water exits the swivel freely after cleaning. The 3/8″ diameter axle accommodates multiple wheel options and the 1/2″ diameter rivet secures the swivel. Up to 350 lbs per caster depending on wheel and stem; limit to 1,000 lbs on a set of 4. NSF listed and RoHS compliant for flour milling equipment, grain processing, and baking ingredient handling stations.

This solid wheel is injection molded from nylon 6 and can not develop a flat spot even under prolonged static loads. Nylon is resistant to greases, oils, blood, acids, bases, organic solvents, chemicals, salt, brine, and cleaning solutions. Nylon is capable of resisting shocks and impact loads. This industrial caster wheel is 100% washable, steam cleanable, and impervious to water, making it ideal for wet environments. The non-marking tread has a Durometer of 75D with a slight crown that rolls very easily. This caster wheel offers high abrasion resistance and toughness. This caster wheel can come equipped with stainless or non-stainless roller bearings and ball bearings, as well as Delrin bearings or plain bore. Ideal for packaging plants, food processing facilities, and hygiene-critical environments.
