The Model 3 Plate Swivel Caster is a stamped steel caster with bright zinc plating for rust protection. The mounting plate is 2-3/8″ x 3-5/8″ and the hole pattern is 1-3/4″ x 3″, slotted to 1-3/4″ x 2-7/8″ and is designed for 5/16″ mounting bolts. The axle is a 3/8″ diameter bolt with a locking nut and the swivel caster is held together by a 1/2″ diameter rivet. This caster is constructed with two rows of ball bearings on hardened raceways for reliable swivel performance. There is a metal dust cover that shields the swivel raceways from dirt and dust contamination. This caster features wheels with 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ tread widths. Ideal for dormitory furniture, campus supply carts, and student housing equipment. This zinc plated caster is NSF listed. This caster is also available in Stainless Steel for wet or corrosive environments.
