3″ Polyolefin Ball Bearing – Total Lock Stem Model K3A

Description

3″ Black Donut Polyolefin Wheel. Ball Bearings in the Wheel. Shown with 5″ wheel. Stem Caster Model K3A is made using a stamped steel construction and is zinc plated.  This stem caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle and the swivel  caster raceway is held together by a ½” diameter rivet. Stem Caster Model K3A  caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. This stem caster comes standard with a dust cap to cover the swivel bearings. This stem caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1000 lbs on a set of 4 model 3 casters. The Total Lock Stem Caster K3A will amaze you at their performance!

Polyolefin Caster Wheels are injection molded from a blend of thermoplastic polymers forming a one piece solid sanitary design. These Polyolefin wheels are especially suited for wet and corrosive applications. They are very resistant to most commonly encountered liquids. Polyolefin wheels have a lower capacity and a more limited temperature range than Nylon wheels. In a cold dry environment, such as a refrigerated store room, Polyolefin wheels may become brittle. They should not be used in a freezer or a heat application above 180°F intermittent usage, such as a rack washer.

This donut shaped wheel comes with sealed ball bearings in the wheel. It’s tread shape enables it to change directions much more easily.
