Description
Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model 3 by Caster City is a swivel caster built from 304 stainless stamped steel with a buffed smooth reflective finish. This stem caster inserts into equipment socket holes instead of bolting on a plate. Available in grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, or square and round metal stem configurations. A double ball bearing swivel on polished stainless raceways delivers smooth swivel performance. The swivel is sealed with high-temperature white seals rated -20°F to 450°F, protected by a dust cover, and equipped with a grease fitting for lubrication. The wheel rides on a 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut and the swivel section is assembled with a 1/2″ diameter rivet. Rated to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Comes with 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for mushroom cultivation, hydroponic growing operations, and greenhouse processing equipment with socket-type mounting.

This solid wheel is injection molded from nylon 6 and is 100% washable, steam cleanable, and impervious to water. Nylon is an excellent wheel to choose when you must select a wheel that will resist chemicals, acids, bases, greases, oils, blood, salt, brine, and more. The nylon industrial caster wheel can withstand impact loads and shocks. This caster wheel offers high abrasion resistance and a hard tread with a slight crown that rolls very easily. The non-marking tread has a Durometer of 75D. This caster wheel can come equipped with stainless or non-stainless roller bearings and ball bearings, as well as Delrin bearings or plain bore. Ideal for food processing plants, packaging facilities, and wet environments.
