Description
Caster City manufactures the Stainless Steel Model 3 Stem Caster using 304 stainless stamped steel with a buffed reflective finish for corrosion protection. This stem caster installs into equipment socket holes instead of using a bolt-on mounting plate. Grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, and square and round metal stems are offered. The swivel section uses two rows of ball bearings on polished stainless raceways with high-temperature white seals rated -20°F to 450°F. A grease fitting allows ongoing swivel lubrication and a dust cover shields the raceways from dirt and dust. The 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut secures the wheel and the 1/2″ diameter rivet secures the swivel. Up to 350 lbs capacity per caster depending on stem type. Uses 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for assembly workstations, electronics repair benches, and testing equipment with tubular leg frames in corrosive settings.
This polyurethane caster wheel is made of a non-marking polyurethane tire that is mechanically bonded to its polyolefin center, making it a great low-cost choice for electronic and diagnostic equipment, office equipment, laboratory equipment, or light toolboxes. The polyurethane caster wheel is a non-marking injection molded polyurethane tire locked to an industrial plastic center, making it excellent for wet or corrosive environments. These caster wheels are especially suited for use in research laboratories, hospitals, food service, schools, bakeries and other institutional applications. These caster wheels are easier rolling than gray rubber on smooth floors. This injection molded polyurethane caster wheel comes with a durometer of 90-95A, making it excellent for indoor usage on smooth surfaces to reduce noise and vibration. This polyurethane caster wheel is assembled with a sealed precision ball bearing that is further guarded by two plastic spanner bushings which also act as thread guards, rotating against the axle and further protecting the bearing from direct water or chemical exposure. Injection molded caster wheels are not designed to carry large amounts of weight in static load applications. Ideal for computer carts, service carts, and institutional applications.
