Description
4″ Gray Rubber Wheel. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. This 3A rigid caster with total locking is made of stamped steel that is zinc plated to resist corrosion. Total Locking Stainless Steel Rigid Caster Model 3A is completed with a ⅜” axle bolt. Rigid casters are most commonly selected when price is a factor, or if you need to travel in a straight line over long distances. This rigid caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs on a set of 4 Model 3A casters. The Total Locking Stainless Caster Model 3A is excellent for medical equipment.
Soft gray rubber wheels like the “RF” caster wheel are non-marking rubber tires that are injection molded to an industrial plastic center. The axle diameter of this caster wheel is ⅜” and the width of the wheel is 1-¼”.This soft gray rubber caster wheel comes with a durometer of 90-95A, making it excellent for indoor usage on smooth surfaces to reduice noise and vibration. This gray soft rubber caster wheel is assembled with a sealed precision ball bearing that is further guarded by two plastic spanner bushings which also act as thread guards, rotating against the axle and further protecting the bearing from direct water or chemical exposure. Injection molded caster wheels are not designed to carry large amounts of weight in static load applications, please consult with us for a better choice.
