Caster City’s Economy Stainless Steel K3 Swivel Stem Caster offers an economical pathway to stainless steel caster performance for stem-mount equipment in washdown areas. Built from 304 stainless stamped steel, this caster inserts into socket holes using threaded, grip ring, or expanding adapter stems. The swivel section features two rows of ball bearings on polished smooth raceways with no dust cap or grease fitting, creating an open design that allows water to drain after sanitation. A 1/2″ diameter rivet holds the swivel assembly and a 3/8″ diameter axle secures the wheel. Load rated to 350 lbs per caster depending on wheel and stem type; 1,000 lbs max recommended on a set of 4. NSF listed and RoHS compliant for pet food manufacturing, animal nutrition processing, and feed preparation equipment.

This solid nylon caster wheel can resist chemicals, bases, steam, salt, brine, acid, blood, oils, and greases. This solid nylon industrial caster wheel is a hard composite material that can withstand shock loads and impact loads. Injection molded from nylon 6, this wheel is 100% washable, steam cleanable, and impervious to water. Nylon caster wheels can not develop flat spots, even under prolonged static loads. The hard tread features a slight crown and rolls very easily. This non-marking wheel has a Durometer of 75D and offers excellent abrasion resistance. This caster wheel comes with plain bore, precision sealed ball bearings, or roller bearings as well as coming in stainless steel ball bearings or stainless steel roller bearings. Ideal for manufacturing facilities, food processing, and environments exposed to corrosive substances.
