Description
For heavy-duty equipment that must swivel smoothly through wet corridors and corrosive production areas, the Stainless Steel Model G15 swivel caster from Caster City delivers uncompromising kingpinless performance. Fabricated from 304 stainless steel, it includes precision machined load and thrust bearings, 1/4″ thick stainless steel legs welded inside and out, a 1/2″ diameter hollow bolt axle with lock nut, and zinc-plated external parts. The 4″ x 4-1/2″ plate handles up to 1,500 lbs per caster. For manual and powered use on smooth floors, inclines under 3 degrees, speeds below 3 mph. 100% washable for tortilla production, noodle manufacturing, and ethnic food processing plants.
Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is excellent for large loads that do not move often. This phenolic caster wheel can not develop flat spots and the wheel is capable of withstanding the impacts of small obstructions or shock loads. Phenolic is not a good choice if your application exposes the wheel to excessive water, oil, and other chemicals – phenolic can slowly absorb this over time and fail. This caster wheel comes with either a roller bearing or precision sealed ball bearings. This phenolic caster wheel has a temperature range of -40°F to +250°F and a Durometer of Shore D 90. Ideal for die storage racks, tool room equipment, and infrequently moved heavy fixtures.
