The Economy Model K3 Stainless Steel Stem Caster by Caster City is a corrosion-resistant swivel caster manufactured from 304 stainless stamped steel for stem-mount installation in wet and corrosive settings. Mounts into equipment socket holes with threaded, grip ring, or expanding adapter stems without requiring additional hardware. The double ball bearing swivel rides on polished smooth raceways with an open design–no dust cap, no grease fitting–that ensures water cannot pool in the swivel after sanitation. A 1/2″ diameter rivet secures the swivel and a 3/8″ diameter axle holds the wheel. Capacity up to 350 lbs per caster depending on wheel and stem type; recommended max 1,000 lbs per set of 4. NSF listed and RoHS compliant for senior living dining services, nursing home kitchen equipment, and assisted living meal prep carts.
Injection molded polyurethane wheels are non-marking polyurethane tires that are injection molded to an industrial plastic center. This polyurethane caster wheel comes with a non-marking, injection molded polyurethane tire mechanically bonded to a polyolefin center. This caster wheel comes in a variety of colors including red, gray, blue, and black. These caster wheels are especially suited for use in research laboratories, hospitals, food service, schools, bakeries and other institutional applications. They withstand exposure to many chemicals and solvents. These caster wheels are easier rolling than gray rubber on smooth floors. This caster wheel has a durometer of 90-95A which assists in vibration and noise dampening. This polyurethane caster wheel is assembled with a sealed precision ball bearing that is further guarded by two plastic spanner bushings which also act as thread guards, rotating against the axle and further protecting the bearing from direct water or chemical exposure.
