Description
Rigid Model 100 are moved mostly with machine controlled equipment because of the weighted loads they can bear. The legs on model 100 rigid have a gusset welded to the middle of the legs for added toughness. Rigid frames are zinc plated for rust resistance and there is a lubricated fitting for the wheel bearings. Model 100 Rigids are offered with both 3” wide wheels with 1” diameter axle and 4” wide wheels with a 1 1/4” diameter axle. Rigid Plate Casters are usually attached to machinery at the other end of the tow bar or push handle. Rigids help in controlling the direction machinery is moved. If equipment must to be positioned within a confined space we recommend using all plate swivel casters to move the equipment because rigids will not move sideways.
*This Plate Caster Model 100 contains the Ultra High Capacity Polymer with Precision Ball Bearings in the Wheel. The caster shown in photo with 8″ x 4″ wheel.

FAQ
What is the Heavy Duty Industrial Plate Caster Model 100 with NX Ultra High Capacity Polymer Wheel, and what’s it used for?
The Heavy Duty Industrial Plate Caster Model 100 with NX Ultra High Capacity Polymer Wheel is a kingpinless plate mount caster shipped from Texas, Ohio, or Washington, featuring a 6 1/4″ x 7 1/2″ top plate and designed for tough industrial tasks. This caster wheel is extremely important for aerospace and other industries with expensive epoxy floors costing tens of millions of dollars, selected for heavy loads that will be moved indoors on smooth floors to protect these costly surfaces from the damage that metal wheels always cause. It’s ideal for warehouses, manufacturing plants, automotive facilities, chemical plants, mining operations, construction sites, heavy logistics hubs, power plants, shipyards, aerospace facilities, foundries, defense manufacturing, railway maintenance, high-temperature processing plants, and food processing, handling both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment with 3″ and 4″ wide wheels and overall heights of 6” x 3” or 6” x 4” = 8.5”, 8” x 3” or 8” x 4” = 10-1/2”, 10” x 3” or 10” x 4” = 12-1/2”, and 12” x 4” = 15-1/2”.
