Description
Our industrial casters start with a top notch built swivel bearing, which is the standard on Plate Caster Model G15. This design provides impressive performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. Benefits include easier swivel rotation, minimized vibration, and longer trouble free performance. The metal casings are zinc plated for imperviousness to rust, and there are grease fittings for every moveable part. Model G15 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks. We offer an expansive selection of wheels as shown in Model 9, and in many instances the wheels have a higher load capacity rating in Model G15. One popular option is a larger swivel radius in Model G15 Casters with 6” and 8” wheel diameters. A larger swivel radius reduces swivel shimmy vibration and makes it easier to change directions. This caster is available in Stainless Steel. This Stainless Steel caster is NSF and ROHS compliant and comes with a broad selection of 2” wide wheels to choose from that are also NSF and ROHS compliant.
Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is excellent for large loads that do not move often. Phenolic caster wheels are capable of withstanding the impact shocks of obstructions or shock loads, and will not develop a flat spot if left parked for a prolonged period. Phenolic can absorb water and other chemicals if excessive exposure occurs. Phenolic caster wheels come standard with a roller bearing and have precision sealed ball bearings as an option. This caster wheel comes in diameters that range from 3” to 18” and the width of the wheels ranges from 1-¼” to 4”.
