Model G15 Stem Casters provide the highest capacity ratings of all our stem caster models. Model G15 is the start of our industrial caster line with precision machined swivel bearings for outstanding performance. Benefits include easier swiveling, reduced swivel vibration, and longer trouble free service life. The frame is hot-forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing. The metal frame is zinc plated for rust resistance, and lubrication fittings are standard for all moveable parts. Load rated up to 1,500 lbs per caster only when infrequently moved in a manual application with no abuse. G15 stems are most often bought with a threaded stem. Caster City offers ¾” and 1″ diameter threaded stems. The weight on a threaded stem caster is supposed to be supported on the top of the swivel bearing, not above it on the thread stem. This means this stem caster was not designed to be used as a leveling device. You should fully thread this caster to your application. Plain round stems are the other type of stem available with model G15 stem casters. Plain round stems are held inside tubing by drilling a hole through the tubing and the stem, then installing a bolt through the cross hole. Plain round stem diameters include ¾”, ⅞”, 1″, and 1-⅜”. The G15 stems should be used only in manually moved applications. They are only crafted in a swivel design. There is no rigid or swivel lock option. However, a wheel brake can be provided but keep in mind that these casters are not built to hold weight on an incline. The wheel rides on a 1/2″ diameter axle with a locking nut. This caster wheel is an excellent choice when supporting heavy industrial loads indoors without the floor wear and tear associated with metal caster wheels. The NX wheel can not develop flat spots like polyurethane wheels, making it an excellent choice for heavy standing loads. This compression molded caster wheel can not flatten under heavy static loads like polyurethane wheels. This caster wheel comes with a flat tread face and the durometer is 80 Shore D. The temperature range of this caster wheel is -20°F to 250°F. This non-marking hard-composition wheel resists corrosion, chemicals, and impacts, offering a robust alternative to steel wheels. This caster wheel comes with precision sealed ball bearings. Ideal for chemical processing equipment, food processing plants, and marine applications.

• Nylon: High-strength and abrasion-resistant for rougher surfaces.
• Phenolic: Hard and heat-resistant for heavy loads in dry environments.

Bearing choices for the wheels further enhance performance and longevity, with options including:

• B (Ball Bearings): Smooth rolling for moderate loads. Lowest initial force needed to get moving.
• BRNZ (Bronze): High Temperature Bearing for High Heat Applications. Low-maintenance and corrosion-resistant.
• D (Delrin): Self-lubricating plastic for quiet, lightweight operation where frequent wash-downs occur.
• PS (Precision Sealed Ball Bearings): Maintenance-free, high-precision for smoother, longer-lasting performance (standard on many polyurethane wheels).
• P (Plain Bore): Simple and economical for basic applications.
• R (Roller Bearings): Cost Effective and a great choice for many industrial applications.
